Experienced RCDD Technology Designer
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced RCDD Technology Designer to join our team in supporting both our Colorado Springs and Phoenix offices. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Technology Consulting and Design related to projects such as laboratories, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing, educational, and commercial facilities.
In this position, the ideal candidate performs conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy, coordinating with multiple disciplines and architects, - as the senior technology designer, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on schedule. Other responsibilities of this position include:
- Stay current on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies design/construction industry
- Ensure conformance with standards, established design practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction
- Organize and conduct site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes
- Work within a team environment to ensure client standards are met and that all technology systems are incorporated into the overall system design
- Serve as a technical resource for others throughout the firm
- Develop and design within a BIM design environment
- Review junior team member’s work for quality and recognition of training opportunities
- Lead junior designers in design development and professional growth
- Collaborate with the internal and external project team to execute the project from concept to completion including meeting attendance, site visits, response to RFIs, submittal review and responses
- Travel to jobsites and between B&P regional offices

We look for the following ideal qualifications:
- Industry certification (BICSI RCDD (At minimum) ASIS CPP, AVIXA (InfoComm) CTS/-D, Cisco CCNA, etc.)
- At least four to eight years of experience within a consulting or design-build firm
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other production related software
- Experience in the following markets: Federal, state and Local Government, Healthcare and Labs, Corporate Commercial, and Educational facilities
