We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical  Designer or Engineer to join our team in our Arizona office. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Mechanical  design, applying industry knowledge to projects such as laboratories, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing, educational, government and commercial facilities.

In this position, the ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design, equipment selection, mechanical plan layout, coordination with other consultants and team members, and client interaction.  Other requirements include:

  • Minimum 4 year college degree from an accredited engineering program
  • Minimum 3 years of Mechanical design experience in the consulting engineering business 
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and other design related software
  • EIT or PE a plus
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong personal ambition and work ethic
  • Knowledge of various building, mechanical, and energy conservation codes
  • Knowledge of NFPA, and other industry related standards
  • Create, read and interpret mechanical systems, drawings and specifications
  • Develop and design within a BIM design environment
  • Collaborate with the internal and external project team to execute a project from concept to completion including meeting attendance, site visits, response to RFIs, submittal review and responses
  • Travel to jobsites throughout the state and region
